Destiny Strikes again!

Hello readers!

So, finally, after 2 weeks of telling myself every night, "Ok, I'm going running in the morning" I actually did. So, instead of my normal, wake up at 8:30, look at the clock, think for a second and go, "ah, screw it, I'll go running tommorow." I made a bet with a friend of mine that whoever didn't go running, unless there was a good excuse, that person would owe the other person a dolor. So, not wanting to loose a dolor, I woke up, got on my running pants, and darted out the door. I started out good, but after a half of a mile I had to stop, and I walked the rest of the way.

On the way back I ran into a wise old man and he gave me some good advice. Advice like, "stay in school, but don't just stay in there, take what you learn to practical use." "Be prepared for Change because Life will throw you curve-balls." He told me of this three sons, his youngest is 43, which should give you some indication of his age. I sensed a bit of sadness, but also hope. I very much wish to see him again, hopefully it will be not in this lifetime though. I want to one day tell him of my life, and how his advice has helped me. He was a very wise old man, and I pray God will bless the rest of his days here on Earth.

May you never forget some of this sage advice. Many of us wish we could impart wisdom to the young people of this world. After all, we expect everyone to learn from history so that we don't repeat it. However, this is not popular when it comes to learning from the mistakes of others, quite often. In fact, young people are often resentful of us older people trying to impart our wisdom.

It's going to be funny to see many of you doing the same for your kids. And then blogging (or whatever communication medium exists then) about your frustrations with your children who won't listen. :)

ah, I love it when people impart wisdom to me, I'm all for experience is the best way to learn things... but I don't wanna learn everything the hard way. :P

oh boy... please don't speak of that yet! I still have some years of sanity still left in me!
